About Java Funder

For years, schools and non-profits have sold products to raise funds. Supporters loyally buy products like cookie dough, pizza, wrapping paper and more – often out of the desire to support the cause rather than the need for the product. On top of this, manual order forms are used, money is collected, and already busy parents, kids and volunteers hand deliver the product.

The “same old, same old” is becoming just that – old. That’s why Java Funder decided to create a different solution: Sell a product that supporters use every day and ship it directly to their homes. With so many Americans already drinking coffee, using it to help fundraise made perfect sense.

Having served on the boards of local and global non-profits for many years, we have always believed in supporting the greater good over a retailer, and are excited that Java Funder will push this mission even further. We are the perfect platform to help organizations fulfill their financial commitments in a meaningful and fun way.

Try something new. Let Java Funder fuel your next fundraiser!

He is also on the board of directors of Community Warehouse and Living Hope International.  He and his wife reside in Pewaukee, WI.

Lamon Elrod

Owner
Co-founder Lamon Elrod came up with the idea for Java Funder after becoming frustrated with some of the ways his four kids were being asked to raise funds at their schools. His extensive experience in sales and marketing led him to come up with the concept for Java Funder, which uses coffee sales to drive funding of school groups and other organizations.
Lamon spent several years of his career in healthcare distribution with Patterson Dental and Henry Schein where he was a Director of Sales and Marketing. Recently, he managed a national rep firm that assists companies with getting their products into national and regional retailers. He and his family live in Hartland, WI.
